The seal advocacy program is an educational opportunity to learn more about the seal species that call our waters home!

The New York Marine Rescue Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of the marine environment through rescue, rehabilitation, education and research efforts. NYMRC operates the only licensed rehabilitation center for seals in New York and sea turtles from New York, and is the primary responding organization for all marine mammals and sea turtles.The seal advocacy program is an educational opportunity to learn more about the seal species that call our waters home! We'll go over seal behaviors, seal threats, and how humans should behave around seals as well as how we can help protect our marine mammal neighbors!
